Terms & Conditions

Booking

By completing the booking form and submitting your details, you acknowledge your responsibility for all booking conditions and the timely payment of any fees due. This act signifies your acceptance of a contract, and you agree to adhere to these terms. Please ensure that you understand the Terms & Conditions before finalizing your booking. Thank you for cooperation.

Patch tests

Patch tests are compulsory for certain treatments such as brow tint, lamination, and lash lift and tint. Patch tests must be completed atleast 48 hours prior to the appointment.

Please note no reaction to a patch tests is still not a guarantee that a reaction will not occur during or after the treatment, this is an informed risk you choose to take when undergoing any treatment.

You must not wash off the patch test for 24 atleast hours.

A positive result may appear as skin irritation, swelling, or inflammation. If you experience any of these, it is essential to notify me right away, and will not continue with the treatment. In the event of a reaction, please remove the patch test with water and seek advice from a healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Deposits

Deposits are required for all make-up bookings. Your deposit will be deducted from the price on the day of the wedding / appointment. Under no circumstances are deposits refundable unless I have to cancel your appointment, due to unforeseen circumstances.

First-time nail clients are also required to pay a deposit, which will be deducted from the price on the day of the appointment. While this deposit is non-refundable, it can be transferred to another date if at least 72 hours’ notice is given. Future nail appointments will not require a deposit.

Your appointment is not confirmed until deposit is received. If I receive another booking for your date and you haven't paid the deposit, I reserve the right to accept that booking, and you may lose your date. To avoid this, please ensure deposits are paid promptly when requested.

Wedding bookings and trials

Although a trial is not compulsory it is highly recommended to book a make-up trial prior to your wedding date. Your trial can be arranged after the deposit is paid or closer to the time of your wedding, depending on your preference and how close the wedding date is. Ideally, I suggest having a trial no later than 3 to 4 months before the wedding. You may have a trial before securing your wedding date with a deposit, but please understand that your date is not secured until the deposit is paid.

If you choose not to have a trial, I cannot accept responsibility if the selected style or product is unsuitable on the wedding day. Certain products may not work well with a client’s skin, adverse reactions may occur, or our make-up styles may not align. In the event that your expectations are not met, no refund will be offered on the wedding day.

If I get another enquiry for your date and you haven’t paid the deposit, I’ll reach out to you, and you’ll have 24 hours to make the payment. If the deposit isn’t paid within that time, I reserve the right to accept the other booking, and you may lose your date. To avoid this, please make sure deposits are paid promptly when requested.

For larger bridal party bookings (usually 5+) I may require another make-up artist to assist me. In this instance I will do my best to help you find another make-up artist who is fully qualified and of a similar skill set. Please note that you’ll be responsible for contacting and completing the booking process with the additional artist.

Wedding cancellations

In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel, please let me know as soon as possible. Your deposit and the cost of any completed trial appointments is non-refundable.

If there are changes to your wedding date, please let me know as soon as possible.  I will then check my availability to try my best to accommodate. In the circumstance I am not available on your new wedding date, I will do my best to help you find another make-up artist. Your deposit and any appointments already carried out are non-refundable.

In the unfortunate event that I have to cancel your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, I will do my best to help you find another make-up artist as a goodwill gesture. However, please understand this may not always be possible depending on the reason for cancellation, and you’ll be responsible for contacting and completing the booking process with the replacement artist. In this instance, you will receive a full refund where the balance has already been paid in full. If the balance is still outstanding, you will receive a refund for your wedding booking deposit.

The cost of any completed trial appointments are non-refundable.

Travel

All travel will be covered at 50 p per mile. This will be calculated on the distance to and from the booking location and my postcode. Any parking, toll congestion charge and/or accommodation costs must be covered. For abroad destination weddings all flights, accommodation costs, food and any over travel expenses must be covered.

Allergies, reactions and health concerns

I am not responsible for any reactions that may occur during your appointment, as this is at your own risk. If you have any allergies to any cosmetic products you must inform me know prior to booking your appointment.

Please notify me if you or anyone in your booking / bridal party have any contraindications prior to the day of the wedding day or appointment. I reserve the right to refuse full application or the application of certain products to protect myself, others and the hygiene of my kit. In the event I have to refuse service, a refund will not be given.

All of my products, tools and brushes are cleaned and sanitised between each client.

 Force Majeure

Neither party will be held liable, responsible, or considered in breach of this Agreement for any failure or delay in carrying out its terms, as long as such failure or delay is due to causes beyond the affected party’s reasonable control. These causes may include, but are not limited to, fires, floods, embargoes, wars, acts of war (whether declared or not), terrorism, insurrections, riots, civil unrest, strikes, lockouts or other labour disputes, natural disasters, or actions, omissions, or delays by any governmental authority or the other party.

Damage to property

By agreeing to the booking you and anyone within your party agree to take care of and be responsible for any loss, damage, or destruction of property caused by your actions or negligence. You’ll be responsible for covering any costs resulting from such damages including repair or replacement. Cost of replacement shall be the current market value of the property and equipment on the date of the loss.
